Dr. Yolanda Madison

ENDODONTIST

Hi! I’m Dr. Yolanda Madison. I grew up in Jacksonville, FL and went to college at the University of Central Florida. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Molecular & Microbiology and a Bachelor of Arts in French, I attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, completing my degree in 2008. I worked as a general dentist in Philadelphia for a year before moving to Chicago to train at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s College of Dentistry. There, I completed a Clinical Specialty Program in Endodontics in 2011. I have been working at A-Dentacare Specialists since that year, where I helped extend the scope of services provided by building up an endodontic practice. In my spare time, I like to work out, study foreign languages, cross stitch, and I’m a member of the Associate Board for the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless.

Through the years, I have learned that I am very interested in things with small, important elements. Whether it’s in an Olympic lift, in the minutiae of grammar rules of a foreign language, or counting stitches to complete a project, I enjoy the details. This is a quality I bring to my profession. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and the fact that I get to use a microscope to see the details more clearly is icing on the cake! My goals are for my patients to be at ease, for them to get outstanding and thorough treatment, and to continue to dispel the negative myths about root canals and dentists in general.
