Insurance Information

Our insurance coordinators deal with many different insurance companies.  Companies that may offer many different dental and medical plans with varying benefits, co-pays, and deductibles each work day.  We do our best to provide you with accurate coverage estimates based on available information.

Occasionally, it can be difficult to accurately estimate a patient’s insurance co-payment. Some insurance companies will not give out fees until after the treatment is completed.

Dealing with these companies can be difficult and time consuming.

***As a courtesy, we ask that you keep us informed of any change to your insurance. It is important that all information about you and your insurance is kept current.

Further, most dental insurance policies are limited and often only pay for a portion of the procedure(s) that may need to be done.

Co-Payment

The majority of dental plans reimburse approximately 30-80% of treatment costs.  With this in mind, we ask that your co-payment is made at the time of treatment.

HMO Patients

Most HMO plans require that the patient obtain a referral from their general dentist.  Without the referral form your exam and treatment will not be covered by your insurance.

Medicare

Medicare does not cover treatment at A-Dentacare Specialists.

Private & Group Insurance

As a courtesy to our patients with dental (and medical when applicable) benefit plans, we will submit necessary claim forms, receipts, and other information to your insurance company.

  • Upon receipt of an insurance payment, any uncovered balance due will be billed to you.
  • If the insurance pays more than expected, you will receive a refund.
